Pemco offers "in-house" or pass-through processing. When members use your cards, we send authorization requests and results between your institution and Visa/MasterCard. Our award-winning processing service features effective fraud-protection, flexible card loyalty programs, and the best customer service in the industry.- Authorization processing. Pemco's system reliability and response time means cardholders won't be kept waiting for authorizations. We give our customers two authorization options: a Positive Balance File, or an online interface using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPN uses secure DES encryption, and operates on your existing high-speed Internet connection. Pemco stands in if the link to your financial institution is unavailable or if an authorization request isn't returned within five seconds.
- Monetary transaction processing. Depending on core processor capability, monetary transactions are delivered for posting in either a batch file or as on-line completions. Settlement for these transactions is completed the day they are sent, which eliminates the need for a prefunded settlement account. One hundred percent interchange reimbursement is provided as part of the daily settlement process.
- Chargeback Get professional assistance from a team of experts. Chargeback customers can deliver documentation online through our secure Web-based Document Drop-Off service. We support a variety of options to deliver your documentation to Visa's Resolve Online (VROL) system.
- Fraud Management. Our PRISM neural network has been proven to reduce fraud charge-offs. Fraud analysts monitor PRISM alerts around the clock.
- Account/BIN limits can be set daily for amount and/or count, and set by merchant category group.
- We verify CVV/CVV2 and CVC/CVC2 on all authorizations.
- We support current Visa and MasterCard fraud prevention measures, including Verified by Visa, MasterCard Secure Code, Visa's Advanced Authorization Service, and AVS (Address Verification Service).
- Choose from several Web-based risk management reports.
- Expiration date matching and name matching provided.
- Pemco's in-house fraud investigator can serve as a coordinator between your financial institution and law enforcement agencies to prosecute credit card thieves.
- Our online inquiry and maintenance service enables you to select different levels of staff access to Pemco's processing software. All access is documented in audit ledgers.
- Marketing Support. Ask us to analyze your portfolio and offer techniques to increase card usage, expand your cardholder base, and identify opportunities to drive revenue growth. Download free professionally designed templates for campaign materials from Pemco's Web site.
- Visa/MasterCard implementations and conversions. We specialize in smooth conversions and seamless implementation of new programs. We coordinate closely with you, your current processor, and any other vendor involved.
